35th Annual NW Open Martial Arts Championship

The 2008 Junior Olympics Tae Kwon Do Championships were held in The 35th Annual NW Open Martial Arts Championship was held on Saturday, October 18, 2008, at the Oregon Convention Center. Four members of the Maye Martial Arts Competition Team took home a total of six medals.
Mitchell Waddington, yellow belt, won 1st place in forms, 2nd place in sparring, and 3rd place in breaking. Tanner Boyle, blue belt, won 2nd place in forms. Drew Sundeen, yellow belt, won 3rd place in sparring and 3rd place in forms. Marisa Keller, red belt, won 3rd place in sparring.
Dominic Canterbury, 1st poom black belt, attended the tournament as a coach, in addition to instructor Marty Maye.
